How does the human body or anatomy interact and work with design, materials, and nature? There are connections to draw between them? I might not have an exact answer but I have looked into the shapes and ideas of how this could work and interact with my design.
The main idea of my design is tensile structures but have organic and natural shapes that give you an idea of being in nature. Thinking of the human body and nature I drew the connection between tree trunks and the bones in the body. Looking at my design I saw that the shapes are very similar to each other.

I want the fabric to represent nature and the natural but you can also see how it works as the bone structure for the building to keep it from falling apart.
The actual material of a tree trunk will work better for my stairs. I will use cork there to represent nature and make it like a mountain going up the building.
The bones are also an inspiration for the way I will hold up the tensile structure. The fabric will be held up by a strong structure to shape the body of the shape.
