ETFE is a plastic material that is used for tensile structures. It can be chosen in different colours and translucences and it can also be lit up by led lights to change colour. But the translucency can not be chosen in a wide range, it is normally more translucent. The material is good because of its insulation, translucency, recycling ability, weight, and production costs. There are different techniques for ETFE there are single layer, double layer, and triple layer. The double and triple layers are inflated with air. But the material is more a film than fabric and is used more to replace structural glass than to be used to look like fabric. I will not use ETFE in my design.
