Perspective

noun

1. the art of representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other.

2. the appearance of viewed objects with regard to their relative position, distance from the viewer, etc..

3. a view or prospect.

4. the relation of two figures in the same plane, such that pairs of corresponding points lie on concurrent lines, and corresponding lines meet in collinear points.

5. a particular attitude towards or way of regarding something; a point of view.

My chosen object was a small glass vase with a beautiful pattern.

Day One:

To fill it up and take it out. I started with one of the most obvious things to fill the vase with greenery. I used grass to symbolize it.

To walk in four different ways. The vase inspires the way I walk. I am looking at both shapes and how the object would move if it could.

To spin. It was a beautiful sunny day and I wanted to see how well the vase gave reflections against a surface. I found this blue fence on the walk and started to spin the vase in different directions. It made beautiful reflections on the wall.

To Capture distant objects; the boat and the sun.

To fill it with water and empty it. Rinsing it off from the sand that ended up in it.

To roll the vase.

To look through the vase, made different colours in distorted shapes.

I took a few pictures on the walk, placing the vase in different places and in different ways.

Picture nr.1 The vase is in a piece of wood that was at the beach.

Picture nr.2 is trying to capture the tree in the vase to represent flowers/greenery in a vase.

Picture nr.3 Buss stop, a place for transportation and movement.

Picture nr.4 is mimicking the empty glass bottle that is lying on the plantation.
