Wax test 2

I experimented further with different shapes of mesh and wax to see how it moves and behaves.

I started with a flat mesh this time to see how it would go through it. Pouring from higher up to see how it would stay on the mesh or go through.

In the pictures below you can see how the wax barely stayed on top of the mesh and it just went through.

When I bent the mesh the wax stayed in its original shape and left the surface of the mesh.

I pour the wax over the surface and the result of it.

This experiment gave me a new idea on how to pour it, to put the shape up and pour over it instead. See blog post Wax test 3.
